Heather Froehlich-Cortell

 

Our on-site professional is Heather Froehlich-Cortell.  Heather is a second generation horse trainer with extensive experience in hunters, jumpers, equitation, dressage and horse health care.  Heather has very successfully shown at Regional ‘A’ rated shows qualifying for nationals 6 consecutive years as a child rider.

Heather has trained with a variety of professional trainers including Lynn Cartellone, Jeff Gogul, Farra Phillips-Hillyard, Cindy Foster & Sergio Jeminez, and Mike Rheinheimer.  She has also attended numerous clinics, studying the concepts of George Morris, Susan Harris, Felicitous, Peter Leone, John Roper, Frank Madden and Kyle King.  During 2006 through 2008 she served as the assistant coach for the Bucknell Equestrian Team as well as assistant trainer for Fox View Farm, training horses and riders of all levels under the leadership of Farra Phillips-Hillyard.

 Heather and her staff are an experienced and enthusiastic group dedicated to producing well-rounded, effective and confident equestrians.  Heather and her students attend monthly horse shows and clinics in order to keep current on the latest riding and teaching techniques. She has attained a high skill level of riding and is able to school or reschool the greenest of horses. 

Here at Hunter Vale we teach all ages and levels and will help you reach your specific riding goals while learning invaluable horsemanship skills.

 

 

 

              Here at Hunter Vale, we also offer apprenticeships for motivated individuals who want to get experience in other areas of the industry. In order to enroll in this program you must be at least 18 years of age.

 

 

 

Heather is currently seeking ambitious riders, at all levels, striving to reach their fullest potential.  We offer an exceptional training program to help you and your horse with your riding career.
